The fabrics for our Bucket Hats were made from 100% cotton on traditional weaving looms in Ghana.
In Kente production, cotton yarn (silk is also possible) is woven into stripes on traditional weaving looms. These differ in width depending on the region of production. For example, the blue/black fabric was produced in the Upper East Region, on the border with Burkina Faso. The individual fabric strips are approx.11 cm wide. The beige/blue fabric came from the Volta region, bordering Togo, and is slightly wider at 37 cm. The individual narrow strips of fabric are sewn together lengthwise at the end and are sewn into bucket hats by the Eyes of Light training program.

Please wash by hand.
Soak product. When washing, it is best to avoid strong wringing and rubbing. Use water with a maximum temperature of 30 degrees. You can hang the cardigan to dry, but it is recommended to let it dry lying down, as it is much gentler than hanging.
Washed too hot, the bucket hat may shrink.

This is a one size fits most.
Attention: The hat runs large.
But cool styled, with the sides folded up or over a scarf, it actually fits on any head ;-)
